" Est-ce le fruit du hasard ? La photographe Pauline Makoveitchoux, installée dans le pays d’Auray (Morbihan), a un nom de famille qui est tel un écho à ses origines ukrainiennes. « Cela signifie cultivateur de pavots », sourit-elle. Elle s’imagine ce que penseraient ses aïeuls lointains, du projet qu’elle porte aujourd’hui : mettre en lumière la force des agricultrices bretonnes.

Une série photographique qui a trouvé son nom : La terre des femmes. « Ce n’est pas un métier, c’est une vie. Elles sont agricultrices, elles sont aussi femmes, mères, parfois mères célibataires. »"
